but that’s the first thing I think about whenever I see a painting by Picasso.
Not even a colourful
line from a Modern Lovers song, not a raunchy scene from a movie, not a particular
episode from his biography – just a strong feeling of artistic passion
resisting any accepted form of human attachment.
